Facebook Statistics Here are a few important data points from Facebook More than 500 million active users 100 billion hits per day 50 billion photos 2 trillion objects cached, with hundreds of millions of requests per second 130TB of logs every day 50% of our active users log on to Facebook in any given day Average user has 130 friends People spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook Average user is connected to 80 community pages, groups and events Average user creates 90 pieces of content each month More than 30 billion pieces of content (web links, news stories, blog posts, notes, photo albums, etc.) shared each month. More than 550,000 active applications currently on Facebook Platform More than one million websites have integrated with Facebook Platform People that use Facebook on their mobile devices are twice more active on Facebook than non-mobile users
